Witney lost 15-12 defeat at Trowbridge in South West 1 East on Saturday.
Fly half Lloyd Davis kicked Trowbridge ahead with an eighth-minute penalty.
His opposite number, Henry Lamb, replied with a difficult effort, having missed an easier attempt early on.
Trowbridge dominated the scrums, but Lamb’s second penalty put Witney 6-3 ahead.
Witney coughed up two more penalties, which Davis slotted before half-time.
Davis was on target again before Lamb landed a 40-metre penalty in reply.
Lamb levelled the match with five minutes to go, but scrum half Tom Weaver’s kick won it two minutes from time.
Chipping Norton won 35-13 at Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division basement boys Littlemore, who are without a win this season.
Full back Mark Roberts kicked two conversions.
