CARLOS Sainz described completing the final stage of the Monte Carlo Rally as a special experience.
The Spaniard, who drives for the Enstone-based Renault team in Formula 1, tackled the icy, slippery conditions in the VIP course car.
Sainz followed in the footsteps of his father, Carlos, who won the rally three times.
The 23-year-old said: “That was very special. I have dreamt about doing this a lot of times in my life and now thanks to Renault it has come true.”
