ARFAN Younus was the star of the show for Yarnton & Cowley as they took over at the top of Division 1 with a six-wicket win at Marsh Gibbon.

Younis claimed 6-32 as the hosts were shot out for just 77.

Mark Strong’s six-wicket haul saw Westcott to an eight-wicket win at Faringdon.

Strong took 6-32 in Faringdon’s 173 all out, Rob Owen hitting 93 not out.

Rehman Ullah then struck 77 to lead Westcott to 177-2.

Ayyaz Mallick hit 109 not out in Oxenford’s 35-run victory at home to Wootton & Boars Hill.

Vijay Pamu (51) also shone as the hosts set 215-8, before Stephen Wright claimed 4-9 to help dismiss Wootton for 180.

Stonesfield saw off hosts Wolvercote by 69 runs.

After scoring 184-8, Stonesfield dismissed Wolvercote for 115 as Tom Gubbins took 4-19.

Division 2 leaders Chipping Norton were pushed all the way by Stanton Harcourt before winning by one wicket.

Replying to Stanton’s 193-9, Chippy edged to 194-9, Arthur Ward hitting 53 and Ian Widdows 51. Ollie Pascoe’s spell of 6-29 was in vain.

An unbeaten half-century for Richard Beard saw Clifton Hampden to an eight-wicket win at home to Tetsworth.

Laurence Harvey (4-34) helped to dismiss Tetsworth for 163, before Beard (57no) led Clifton home.

Watlington saw off hosts Wantage by three wickets.

Wantage were dismissed for 145 as Steve Strong took 4-22.

Gareth Bridges then struck 56 in Watlington’s 146-7.

Division 3 leaders Kilkenny lost by 43 runs at Broughton & North Newington.

The hosts were bowled out for 184, Chris May taking 6-25. Nick Hibberd then claimed 5-33 as Kilkenny fell for 141.

Ben Ives hit 112 not out to help Bampton to a four-run win over West Ilsley.

Bampton posted 206-8, Hector Agnew taking 6-41.

Gerard Duncan (73) and Wayne Lyford (61) shone in Ilsley’s reply, but they finished just short on 202-9, Julian Easterbrook taking 4-39.

A haul of 5-59 for Lucas Pugh helped Dorchester to a four-wicket win over Marcham.

The visitors were bowled out for 184, Stuart Armstrong hitting 59.

Dorchester then reached 185-6 to secure victory.

Risinghurst hammered visitors Brill by 161 runs.

Martin Kalyan hit 58 in the hosts’ 224-6, before Selvam Raman (5-15) helped shoot out Brill for 63.

Division 4 leaders Radley easily defeated Steventon by five wickets.

Rezwan Rana claimed 6-26 as Steventon were routed for 96, before Ali Malik (34no) led Radley to 99-5.

Uffington defeated visitors Combe by 16 runs.

Charlie Harris top-scored with 84 in Uffington’s 218 all out, and then Dan Painter (4-38) and Adam Hargreaves (449) combined to dismiss Combe for 202, Chris Moore scoring 67.

Harry Turner’s six-wicket haul helped Wolvercote 3rd to a 39-run win over visitors Risinghurst 2nd in Division 6.

Earlier, Ben Madden hit 52 in Wolvercote’s 174 all out, before Turner took 6-34 to send the visitors tumbling to 135 all out.

Chesterton defeated visitors Dorchester 2nd by 48 runs.

In Division 7 North, Jim Astle hit 67 not out to steer Charlbury 3rd to a nine-wicket win at Deddington 2nd, while Stonesfield 2nd eased past visitors Kidlington 3rd by 99 runs.

A fine century by Anton Eisner helped Swinbrook to a 96-run win at home to Kidlington 2nd in Division 5.

Eisner struck 110 in Swinbrook’s 262-9, Callum Dadge scoring 60 and Josh Behal taking 5-45.

Ryan Dadge then returned 5-37 as Kidlington fell for 166.

Knocks of 80 by Miles Martin and 68 not out by Dom McKenna helped East & West Hendred 2nd to a five-wicket win at Yarnton & Cowley 2nd.

Faringdon 2nd beat hosts Harwell International by 65 runs in Division 7 South.

Simon Cornish hit 88 in Faringdon’s 224-5, and Harwell then fell for 159.
