EASINGTON Sports conceded twice in the dying moments as they were cruelly denied a place in the first qualifying round when losing 2-1 to Chipping Sodbury Town.

The Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West hosts, in their first year in the Emirates FA Cup, conceded in the 90th and 93rd minutes to suffer a heartbreaking defeat.

Joe Eyre had fired the home side into the lead in the second half of the preliminary round tie.

But Steven Fitzpatrick equalised in the 90th minute, before Justin Bishop broke Easington hearts in injury-time.

Jon Davoile’s late strike earned Premier Division club Wantage Town a 1-1 draw at Slimbridge.

The home side took the lead on 36 minutes when Ewen Dunbar fed Will Hawes, who found the far corner.

Goalkeeper Curtis Meare then denied Slimbridge’s Tornado Bello.

Bradley Cox headed against the bar for Wantage, but they equalised with ten minutes to go when Davoile fired home.

League counterparts Ardley United were beaten 4-2 at home by Burnham.

Aiden Higgs put the visitors in front on 15 minutes as they lead at the break.

But Ardley were thankful to goalkeeper Christian Lawrence who saved a penalty before half-time.

However, Burnham soon took control when Daniel Fosu and Higgs found the net to make it 3-0.

Ardley gave themselves hope when substitute Greg Hackett’s brace pulled them back to within a goal, only for Lucas Sinclair to make sure of victory.

Evo-Stik South League side North Leigh lost 4-2 at home to Hanwell Town.

The game opened up as early as the ten-minute mark, with both sides creating chances.

The visitors broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when Calum Duffy headed home a corner.

However, the Millers were quick to respond through George Seacole’s 40th-minute volley, only for Oliver Duffy’s free-kick to restore Hanwell’s lead at the break.

The visitors made it 3-1 through Ibrahim Olutade, but the hosts pegged them back minutes later when Josh Pinn drove home.

Substitute Iwedd Kartita wrapped up the victory for Hanwell on 64 minutes.

An under-strength Didcot Town side must do it all again after a 1-1 draw at home to Aylesbury.

With Felipe Barcelos leaving the club for Moneyfields and a number of key players absent, boss Andy Ballard was forced to make changes.

But the Railwaymen received a boost before kick-off, when announcing the signing of striker Aaron Woodley from Swindon Supermarine.

Aylesbury took the lead ten minutes before the break, thanks to Bruno Brito’s volley.

Matt Woodley equalised from the penalty spot on 65 minutes after a handball in the area.

And Didcot could have won it late on, but Luke Carnell was denied by Nick Bennion and Ross MacDonald shot wide as they were forced to settle for a replay, which will be played on September 4.

League counterparts Kidlington were beaten 1-0 at home by Marlow.

Calam Gallimore scored the only goal of the tie on 13 minutes.

Thame United lost 2-0 to Berkhamstead at the ASM Stadium.
