CLANFIELD won one of the most remarkable games ever seen at Radcot Road on Saturday.

Their Oxfordshire Senior Cup home clash against Cropredy finished level at 0-0 after 90 minutes, with the visitors on top for the majority of the match.

But there followed 30 minutes not seen before with the hosts scoring seven unanswered goals.

Clanfield had goalkeeper James Domm to thank for keeping them in the game in normal time after making three superb saves.

Domm’s one error came on 31 minutes when he picked up a backpass, but his defence saved the day by standing firm from the resulting indirect

free-kick.

Clanfield took the lead just two minutes into extra time when Nathan Kimber fired home a 20-yard shot.

Two minutes later, Jozef Fullerton doubled the home side’s advantage when shooting inside the far post.

Skipper Adam Pendall made it 3-0 on 99 minutes, pouncing on a loose ball inside the area to score his first of the season.

Fullerton soon bagged his second, converting a penalty awarded for handball.

Further goals from Karl Roberts and Pendall made it 6-0, before Fullerton put the icing on the cake in the final minute when tapping home passed the hapless defence at the far post to complete an amazing 30 minutes for the home side.

Clanfield now return to league action on Saturday when high-flying Easington Sports visit Radcot Road for an Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West fixture (3pm).
