OXFORD United know all about the struggles facing their hosts tomorrow.

With key players out injured, Scunthorpe United are leaking goals at an alarming rate, struggling to score and are on a losing run – it is a similar picture which faced the U’s only a month ago.

The treatment room is the biggest concern for the Iron and includes Josh Morris, who scored the only goal in this fixture last season.

And boss Karl Robinson has sympathy for the situation facing manager Stuart McCall.

He said: “Stuart’s very calm and is very good at what he does.

“Everyone knows his achievements, he’s got some top players but again this is where managers don’t get the credit – look at their injury list, it’s incredible.

“If you took the best four players out of any team in the Premier League there will be a depreciation of performance and I don’t see why it’s any different at this level.

“I know how hard it is when you’re a manager picking a team, you’re getting beat and you feel the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

“We’re proud men and we have a duty of care to do the best we possibly can for our teams.”
