MARK Jones is hoping he can celebrate his 100th game in charge of Oxford City tonight with a fourth successive victory.

East Thurrock United are the visitors to Court Place Farm (7.45) in Vanarama National League South.

City are in a rich vein of

form and could climb as high as eighth if they claim

victory.

Jones, who has been in charge since December 2016, has guided his side away from the lower reaches of the division and is now looking onwards and upwards.

He said: “I’ve enjoyed my time. It’s been a good couple of years and 100 games have gone very quickly.

“We’re on a good run, but we’re aware it can change in the blink of an eye.”

“We have a young, hungry team that are doing well and we want to keep that going.”

City are forced into one change from Saturday’s 4-0 win over Truro City, with Tom Carter added to the squad in place of Ben Jefford, who faces up to three weeks out with an Achilles problem.

Banbury United host Stourbridge in Premier Division Central of the

Evo-Stik South League, while Didcot Town travel to Aylesbury in Division 1 Central.
