SPARTAN Rangers produced a major shock as they beat Witney & District FA Premier Division title hopefuls Aston 3-0 – just their second win of the season.
Strikes from Cody Davies, Josh Hookings and Donny Henderson-Sowerby saw the basement boys to victory, putting a huge dent in Aston’s title hopes in the process.
FC Hollybush closed the gap on leaders Charlbury to two points as they defeated hosts Minster Lovell 2-1.
Johnny Fletcher scored for Minster, but strikes from Josh Grant and John Andrews gave Hollybush victory.
Kirtlington saw off visitors Tower Hill 4-2.
Alex Metcalfe bagged a brace, with Ryan Moran and Nathan Kelly also on target.
Tower Hill replied through James Scott and Jack Scott.
In Division 1, Milton ran riot with a crushing 12-1 win at Eynsham SSC.
Levi Steele (4), Stephen Peace (3), Alex Ayres (2), Louis Breaks, Harry Nolan and Dan Hootton were on target, while Ryan Stockford netted a scant consolation for Eynsham.
Leaders Stonesfield won their derby clash at Combe 3-0 as Raffy Rice (2) and Carry Rice found the net.
Minster Lovell Res went top of Division 2 with a 3-0 win at Witney Wanderers.
Frank Webb, Seb White and Josh White scored their goals.
