CHARLBURY opened up a three-point lead in the Premier Division as they edged out hosts Aston 3-2 in the Witney & District FA.

Alex Cade and Ryan Oliver were on target for the home side, but Stefan Lang, Craig McCallum and an Adam Clarke own goal won it for the visitors, whose rivals FC Hollybush were in cup action.

Lori Balfe scored as Minster Lovell beat Carterton Rangers 1-0.

Tower Hill overcame visitors Kirtlington 3-0 as James Scott (2) and Ollie Squires were on target.

In Division 1, leaders Stonesfield closed in on the title with a crushing 6-0 win at Witney Royals.

Raffy Rice starred with a four-timer, while James Clarke and Mike Phipps were also on the mark.

Moreton Rangers kept up the pressure, beating Combe 2-1 as Cai Peters notched a double. Simon Baker replied.

In Division 2, Tom Williams hit a hat-trick as Spartan Rangers beat Bourton Rovers Res 3-1, Keegan Bowes replying.

Chadlington Res are hot favourites for the Division 4 title after a 5-0 win over Eynsham SSC.

Alfie Peachey (3), Kevin Mulhearn and Ollie Jordan did the damage.

Meanwhile, Hailey reached the final of the Fred Ford Cup when seeing off FC Hollybush 2-0 in extra time.

After a goalless 90 minutes, strikes from Sean King and Kev Davies put Hailey into the final, where they will meet Kirtlington.

Bletchingdon Res beat Minster Lovell 3-2 in their Jack Busby semi-final.

Richie Wells bagged a brace, with Michael Trafford netting No 3. Minster replied through Gary Mitchell and Josh White.
