OXFORD United have announced they will offer season ticket holders a discount for the next campaign by way of compensation over Bury's withdrawal from Sky Bet League One.
The Shakers were due to visit the Kassam Stadium next Tuesday, but their collapse in August means the fixture has been scrapped.
United supporters have been asking for clarification over whether it means they will be eligible for a partial refund.
The U's have made it clear as it was an issue beyond their control it is covered in their terms and conditions so they are under no obligation to take action.

But they have decided to give supporters who bought season tickets before August 27 the chance to receive a £12 discount if they renew for the 2020/21 campaign.
A statement on the club's website said: "With budgets set we cannot offer monetary refunds with the financial consequences this would bring us, but we are committed to providing an optional discount for those supporters renewing their season ticket next season."
Details will be announced with the season ticket prices at the appropriate time.
