KARL Robinson hopes yesterday's meeting between Oxford United and Hayes & Yeading United is the start of a relationship between the clubs.

But Hayes, who play in the BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South, impressed on and off the field.

And Robinson is keen to build links with the club.
He said: "We’d like to thank Hayes & Yeading for their hospitality and the way they’ve been, which has been excellent.
"This will be a place you’d like to send players to on loan and we’d certainly come and play in pre-season.
"We’ve hopefully made friends here and conducted ourselves in the right way."
