DIEGO Maradona led the tributes as Peter Leven helped make history in Belarus's Premier League.
Dynamo Brest, where the ex-Oxford United midfielder is assistant coach, sealed their first top division title with a 1-0 win at home to FC Vitebsk on Sunday.
Maradona became the club's chairman last summer and the Argentina legend was quick to share his congratulations following the victory.

The 59-year-old wrote on Instagram: "I am very happy to be able to congratulate the players, the fans, managers and technical body of Dynamo Brest for getting their first championship in the Belarus League today."
Brest sealed the championship with one game to spare, beating their previous best finish of third back in 1992.
They also ended previous holders BATE Borisov's run of 13 consecutive titles.
