OXFORD wrapped up the title in fine style with a 6-0 victory at Epsom.

The runaway leaders in South League Division 2 secured top spot with three games still to play.

Jemima Spurr got the party started with a reverse-stick finish, which was the difference at half-time.

But the floodgates opened with a double from Milly Berndes-Cade, one from a tight angle and then a penalty flick.

Kim Warman made the points safe, before Amelia Baron added gloss to the scoreline with a late brace.

Oxford’s 2nd team were also among the goals as they beat visitors Redland 2nd in the Women’s Tier 3 Championships.

Suzie Williams, Warman, Charlotte Manning, Chloe White, Chloe Ranson were on target in the 5-1 victory.

Oxford Hawks were leapfrogged by opponents Exe into second place as they lost 3-1 in the penultimate Conference West fixture of the season.

Catherine Reaney scored the visitors’ consolation.

For the second successive week, Witney were unable to fully capitalise on Division 1 leaders Hampstead & Westminster 2nd slipping up.

Witney drew 3-3 at home to Spencer, leaving them six points off top spot with three matches remaining.

The visitors were pressed into a mistake for the opening goal, converted by Mille Hartwell.

The same player doubled the lead after half-time, but Spencer hit back through a neat short corner routine.

Emily Munsy impressed in Witney’s defensive effort, which looked to have reaped rewards when Lucy Reading was played through to make it 3-1.

But the visitors finished strongly to score twice and claim a draw which hit Witney’s hopes of a late title push.
