THERE was little rest for Oxford United on day two of their pre-season training camp in Wales.
U's players and staff were once again up at 6am yesterday as the squad was divided into two groups, alternating between a morning jog and a game of head tennis.
After breakfast, United were back out on the pitch for a breathless session of running and ball work before lunch.
The players were given a couple of hours to recover, before some time in the gym later in the afternoon - with Olympic gold medal-winning sprinter Darren Campbell dropping in to give them some tips.
The U's have another triple session today and will return home tomorrow as they prepare for their schedule of pre-season friendlies - which will include an away fixture against a Premier League side.

One fixture already confirmed is a home game against Queens Park Rangers on August 29, which will take place behind closed doors.
