OXFORD United's squad had a team bonding session after training this afternoon.

The players were brought in for unscheduled early-morning analysis on Sunday following the 2-0 home defeat to Sunderland.

But after training on Monday and Tuesday, they had a chance to take on a different test.

The players sampled the new facilities at Bicester Hotel and Spa, which includes an assault course and 200 metre swimming lake.

Chris Short, United's head of performance told the club website: “The guys have worked extremely hard, not just this week but over the last few weeks and we like to mix things up.

"The facilities here at the Bicester Hotel and Spa are incredible and it was good to take a look and do a few things in teams and out of the ordinary.

"We have a very fit group here so putting them on the water or on an assault course, out of their comfort zone, just lets them work together in a slightly different way."
