Ahead of Oxford United's derby against Swindon Town tomorrow, we look back at the last four league meetings between the sides.

September 10, 2016: Oxford United 2, Swindon Town 0

CHRIS Maguire was Oxford United's hero as his double sunk Swindon Town at the Kassam Stadium.

The Scot scored either side of the break to give the U's a sixth consecutive win over their rivals, who had Lloyd Jones and Lawrence Vigouroux sent off in the second half.

Maguire twice went close in the first period, while Luke Norris sent a header wide for the visitors.

It looked like the Sky Bet League One clash would reach the break goalless, until Nathan Thompson tripped Liam Sercombe in the 44th minute.

Referee Stuart Attwell initially awarded a free-kick, but changed it to a penalty on the advice of his assistant and Maguire beat Vigouroux from the spot.

His next goal, a touch after the hour mark, came as a reward for his work-rate, as his block from the Swindon keeper's clearance flew into the net.

Four minutes later, Jones was dismissed for his second yellow card following a foul on Maguire.

Swindon's misery was complete when Vigouroux was sent off in stoppage time for retaliating against Alex MacDonald.

Oxford Utd: Eastwood, Edwards, Dunkley, Raglan, Skarz, Rothwell (MacDonald 80), Lundstram, Maguire, Sercombe (Ledson 84), Johnson, Thomas (Taylor 71).
