JACK Stevens is aware he could be in for a busy afternoon at MK Dons.

Oxford United visit a side who have scored 13 goals in their last five games – although tomorrow’s hosts have also conceded ten during that time.

That statistic will not surprise anyone who watched the return Sky Bet League One fixture at the Kassam Stadium in October, when the U’s won an end-to-end encounter 3-2.

MK were happy to build from the back that night, but United goalkeeper Stevens knows that comes with its own pitfalls.

“They like a goalkeeper with a ball at their feet,” the 23-year-old said.

“That can work in two ways – it can be a great thing, or a costly mistake.

“We’ll have a game plan and do all we can for the win.”

United will want to break their own mini goal drought, after failing to find the net in their last three matches.

Stevens is braced for an entertaining contest and backed his teammates to find the scoring touch.

He said: “Hopefully there won’t be many down my end.

“They’re a good team, but so are we so we’ll go there full of confidence.

“We know we’ve got to start getting wins again and what a great place to hopefully do that.”
