MORGAN Roberts sent Banbury United top of Pitching In Southern League Premier Central with a dramatic winner at Hednesford Town.

The winger made it 3-2 in stoppage-time to clinch victory for the Puritans and send them two points clear at the summit.

It had been a thrilling game, with birthday boy Jack Stevens scoring twice in the first 15 minutes.

The 21-year-old finished calmly from inside the box, before finding the top corner from a free-kick.

Both sides looked dangerous and Hednesford pulled a goal back four minutes after the restart through George Cater.

Ben Bailey then levelled midway through the half and it remained an absorbing game until the very end, when Roberts secured victory in thrilling fashion.
