OXFORD City are giving free entry to their Boxing Day clash with Hungerford Town to all supporters who book online.

The Vanarama National League South club’s visit to Billericay Town on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

In addition to the Boxing Day deal, City have launched an initiative offering students in Oxfordshire free entry to every home match and 20 per cent off all food and drinks bought at the stadium.

The scheme has been created in tandem with Velocity, a new football education course that will be set up at the club through partners Ignite Sport.

Commercial director Mick Livesey said: “Students play a big role in what we do here at the club.

“It can be an expensive business being a student and plenty of companies offer discounts.

“We wanted to take it to another level and remove the cost of entry completely.”
