CHARLBURY stretched their advantage at the top of the Witney & District FA Premier Division to five points as they hammered hosts Carterton Town A 6-0.

Warwick Tompkins led the way with a hat-trick, with Josh Hunt (2) and Craig McCallum (pen) also on target.

Minster Lovell held hosts Aston to a 1-1 draw.

Alex Cade scored for the home side, but Craig Wood’s strike ensured a share of the spoils.

Basement boys Spartan Rangers lost 3-1 at Kirtlington.

Jake East, Alex Metcalfe and Shane Probitts were on target for the hosts, with Donny Henderson-Sowerby

replying.

Stonesfield fell to their first defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 at home to Bourton Rovers.

Raffy Rice netted for the leaders, but goals from Harry Larner and Danny Way condemned Stonesfield to defeat.

A hat-trick from Dan Bott helped Middle Barton to a 4-2 win over Eynsham SSC.

Nathan Bott scored the other goal, with Ash Bowerman and John Ayres replying.

Goals from Matt Chadwick and Roman Harris gave Chadlington a 2-0 win over Combe.

In Division 2, Harry Noteman’s hat-trick saw Kingham All Blacks to a 3-0 win at Siege FC.

In the Watts Junior Cup second round, Witney Royals brushed aside Minster Lovell Res 5-0 with goals from Miles Roberts (2), Jamie Kennedy, Jordan Priest and Ryan Harris.

Elsewhere, a double from Chris Laurence saw Bampton United record a 2-1 success over Moreton Rangers, for whom Kyle Smith replied.
