TEENAGE forward Max Florey has signed up for a second season in Oxford City Stars’ senior set-up.
After impressing in the last campaign as a rookie, the Stars have high hopes for the 19-year-old, who joins brothers Jake and Josh in the squad.
Head coach Simon Anderson said: “Max deserves his chance at NIHL 1 level.
“He was a free-scoring guy at junior level and handled his first year in senior hockey well last season.
“I am looking forward to giving Max the opportunity to kick on in his development with us this season.”
Florey said: “I loved being part of the team last season, on the ice and in the dressing room. Playing in front of all the fans was great.
“I haven’t played for Simon before so I’m looking forward to proving myself to him.”
