NORTH Leigh continued their perfect opening to the season as they came from behind to beat hosts Didcot Town 3-2 in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West on Monday.
Mark Gee’s side made it six league wins out of six to go five points clear at the top.
The first half was a feisty affair and Didcot went ahead after 20 minutes, when Matty Woodley’s corner was headed home by Adam Learoyd.
The Millers levelled five minutes later, when the referee penalised keeper Leigh Bedwell for a foul on Kieran Sanders and Aaron Woodley converted from the penalty spot.
Didcot restored their lead in the 28th minute, when Matty Woodley’s free-kick was flicked home by Andy Ballard.
The visitors levelled within 30 seconds of the second half kicking off, as Elliott Osborne-Ricketts headed home.
Resolute defending then denied the Millers a third, but they broke through with 20 minutes to go as Callum McNish found the net.
North Leigh: Foster, Welch-Hayes, Hopkins, Turk, White, Westlake, Woodley (Cook 86), Osborne-Ricketts, Sanders, McNish, Williams (Seacole 81). Subs not used: John, Hole.
Attendance: 168.
