Prop Alec Hepburn earns his first league start of the season as London Welsh host Bristol at the Kassam Stadium tomorrow (2.30).

Hepburn comes in at loosehead and James Tideswell at tighthead after both impressed off the bench against Leeds.

New signing Ian Nimmo makes his debut at lock, while Richard Thorpe returns at blindside flanker.

Dan Browne moves to No 8, but the back line is unchanged.

Bristol make five changes.

Adam D’Arcy is named at full back, with Bryan Rennie returning at centre, while Ruki Tipuna forms a half-back partnership with Nicky Robinson.

Hooker Ross Johnston makes his first league start of the campaign, while Marco Mama, brother of Welsh utility back Dante, comes in at blindside flanker.

London Welsh scrum half Alex Davies has been named in the Barbarians squad to face the Combined Services at Plymouth on Tuesday.

Davies, who starts for the Exiles against Bristol tomorrow, described his call-up as a “massive honour”.
