GUY Nicholl scored four tries as in-form Grove made it five wins in a row when easing to a 66-12 victory at home to Corsham.

Connor Hull continued where he left off after his record-breaking exploits the previous week, crossing twice and kicking eight conversions for 26 points.

Grove, who are now fourth in Southern Counties South, blew their visitors away in the opening 25 minutes to lead 47-0 at half-time.

Nicholl (3), Steve Dixie, Jack Horrocks, James Wiltshire and Hull crossed.

Second-half tries from Hull, Ollie Nicholl and Guy Nicholl completed the rout.

In Southern Counties North, Wallingford edged hosts Reading Abbey 27-25.

David Baxter, Craig Irwin, Jackson Sayce and Dan Sadler crossed.

Phil Dawes, who slotted a penalty, and Sayce both converted a try each.

Bicester lost 30-13 at Marlow.

The visitors led 13-10 at the break, thanks to tries from Archie Winnington-Ingram and Dan Walker, who also kicked a penalty.

But Marlow proved a cut above in the second half.

Basement boys Littlemore lost 77-5 at home to Buckingham. Lewis Anderson crossed for the hosts.

Oxford boosted their promotion hopes when beating Wheatley 26-3 at home.

They remain fourth in the BB&O Premier, but have a game in hand over second-placed Milton Keynes, who they trail by three points.

A penalty try and Louis Byrne score, Tom Murton converting, put Oxford 14-0 ahead.

Aaron Laman’s penalty reduced the arrears.

But that was to be Wheatley’s only score as Oxford continued to dominate.

Fraser Hughes and Murton, who converted his own try, crossed to seal victory.

Third-placed Didcot drew 22-22 at Gosford All Blacks, who sit fifth.

Mark Harper (2), Conner McCaffrey and Craig Samuel crossed for the hosts, with Cameron Arnott slotting one conversion.

In the Championship, Chipping Norton were handed a walkover by Harwell.
