Parents joined together outside County Hall to protest against proposed cuts to Oxfordshire's children centres.
More than 15,000 have signed a petition against Oxfordshire County Council's proposal to cut 37 out of the county's 44 centres - which it hopes will save £61m.
The protest was made as the consultation closes today.
Cowley Mum Charlotte Ryland, who has a three-month-old baby called Lawrence, said: "It's a real shame it's the children centres being targeted. They have been invaluable for me."
Council leader Ian Hudspeth said: "We have to make tough decisions. Some we don't like making but we have to have a balanced budget."
