A GIRL from Oxford has gone missing.
Jessica Arthur, 14, was last seen on Friday afternoon at her home and said she was going to Banbury to visit a friend.
But she did not return on Friday evening and police are now appealing to the public for information on her whereabouts.
The teenager is white and 5ft tall and has shoulder-length dyed red hair.
When she was last seen, she was wearing jeans, brown boots and a black leather jacket.
Police said she is believed to have friends in Grays, Essex, and has possibly travelled there.
Det Sgt Simon Hannam said: “Jessica has taken a train to London and we are progressing our enquiries there.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her either in the Oxford or London areas and can provide us with any information about her movements.
“If anyone has any information at all I would urge them to come forward and speak to us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should call 101.
