Matthew Evans is a news reporter covering all Oxfordshire including breaking, business, entertainment and planning stories. As well as writing for the Oxford Mail, he is the lead reporter for the Witney Gazette regularly covering news across the west of the county. Matthew is NCTJ-trained and has a degree in history from the University of Oxford. Prior to working as a journalist, he was a public relations professional for four years. A cinephile and a regular reader, he also enjoys sport (golf aside) and politics.
