IT’S 1899 and escaped prisoner-of-war Winston Churchill is in a spot of bother.
He is lost in southern Africa, wanted dead or alive by the Boers and hounded by the scathing words of his father.
Will he surrender, or fight on?
The Fol Espoir theatre company’s production Winston on the Run, telling the story of the youthful imperial adventures of Britain’s Second World War Prime Minister is at The Theatre in Chipping Norton on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £14 for adults, and £12 for concessions. The play is suitable for those aged 12 and over.
