STUDENTS strutted the catwalk in Fairtrade garments in a bid to raise awareness for the campaign.
Abingdon & Witney College students were tasked with creating garments out of Fairtrade cotton inspired by the word protection.
On Thursday night they modelled their designs at a show attended by 150 people at the college in Welch Way, Witney. About 50 students took part in putting together the event, which was part of their extended diploma in art and design.
Wendy Maddison, of Witney Area Fairtrade Action Group, said: “It was excellent and went better than our wildest dreams.
“We thought it would be a good idea to focus on young people this time, to get the message to them about the benefits of Fairtrade.”
