THE votes have been counted and on Friday the district will discover who has become the West Oxfordshire 2013 Tourism Superstar.
The competition was launched in March to find an unsung hero who helps to make the district an unforgettable experience for visitors.
The contest was organised by West Oxfordshire District Council, in partnership with VisitEngland and the Witney Gazette.
After two months of online voting for 10 candidates by the public, the winner will be named at a ceremony at Eynsham Hall on Friday.
Richard Langridge, the district council’s cabinet member for local economy, communities and culture, said: “It has been a wonderful competition and I am sure the winner will be a very worthy winner. I cannot wait to find out who it is.”
He added: “The competition is an opportunity to value those vital people who make tourism the success it is in West Oxfordshire.”
