RESIDENTS in West Oxfordshire spotted an air ambulance earlier today, whilst they were celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
The helicopter was seen in Witney this afternoon at about 2.30pm.
Residents reported seeing the helicopter circulating 'a lot' in the Moorland Road area, as well as it attempting to land at the green near Springfield Oval, in the north of the town.

Residents noted that the helicopter didn't land and flew off, after trying to land near Springfield Oval.
One resident said they saw an air ambulance, followed by a police helicopter, and then an air ambulance again.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance was unavailable for a comment.
