CASES of coronavirus have continued to rise as more than 200 new deaths were reported across the UK.
According to Public Health England, as of 9am, these are the number of new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours;
- Oxford - 18
- Oxfordshire - 75
- UK - 21,331
The total coronavirus cases since the pandemic started;
- Oxford - 1,804
- Oxfordshire - 5,586
- UK - 762,542
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
The health body is including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or Public Health England laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
Across the UK a further 241 people were reported to have died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test.
It takes the confirmed UK death toll to 43,967.

There were also 134 further deaths in England's hospitals announced yesterday by NHS England.
The first death in more than three months was reported in the county on Monday.
The patient died on Saturday at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH), taking the trust's overall death toll to 183.
Globally, there have now been more than 40 million confirmed cases of Covid-19.
The death toll is more than a million, with the highest number of deaths in the US which has recorded more than 220,000.
