AFTER raising £2,000 for the NHS by making and selling bird feeders, birdhouses and planters, a 91-year-old pensioner is now helping another good cause.

Derrick King has raised £1,000 for GNCEM (Good News Children Education Mission), a charity in India which supports some of the poorest children in Kolkata, in the north of the country.
The Witney High Street Methodist church has been helping the charity for eight years, with Mr King again busy making an assortment of garden products out of wood to help raise funds.
