A builders' merchants has shared CCTV images of a burgundy Volvo they believe was involved in a burglary at their site.

It happened between 1am and 3am on Tuesday when a group of four men broke into the shop.

The Brize Norton firm has published a long list of the items stolen. (Scroll down to see the full list pictured below)

Posting on Witney Spotted Facebook page, Will Timms wrote: "They proceeded to take all of our Bosch, DeWalt, Milwaukee and Einhall power tools. They have also stolen a Karcher K2 Power-washer. We will be uploading a list of each individual item along with images of the thieves and their vehicle.

"If anybody in Brize Norton has CCTV outside of their properties down Station Road, please contact us. If anybody has a dashcam facing Station Road in Brize Norton, please contact us."

The say the vehicle involved is possibly a 2008 burgundy Volvo S40 "most likely with stolen plates" reg number starting MT08.

"Please contact us if you know this plate! Police aware!"

Mr Timms adds: "Please also be aware, there were also burglaries around the Witney area last night. Other merchants and building sites have been hit. Please stay vigilant! Any help will be greatly appreciated."

Thames Valley Police stated that they "received a report of a burglary in Station Road, Brize Norton at around 3am yesterday (16/11). Offenders forced entry to a building and power tools were taken. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online quoting reference 43210517615."
