Jeremy Clarkson will be appearing on the first episode of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway which returns to ITV tomorrow.

Clips on social media show a disgruntled Jeremy getting out of his Land Rover to see people gathered around his farm shop.

'Protestors' shout: "No more toil, keep your soil," holding signs that read 'Jeremy knows diddly squat' and 'your name's mud'.

When he gets out of the car, Jeremy can be heard saying: "The thing about soil is... you can't hurt it."

Behind the scenes Ant is telling the rest of the crew what he wants them to do through a microphone.

The stunt was filmed earlier this year amid issues with neighbours over 'traffic chaos' being caused by visitors to Diddly Squat Farm Shop, and Mr Clarkson's announcement that he wanted to build a restaurant in a lambing shed on his land.

During the stunt Dec, wearing a wig and playing one of the campaigners, taunts the star by saying: "Maybe you should phone a friend" with a megaphone, referring to Jeremy's show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

From a secret room, Ant then tells another actor to handcuff themselves to Jeremy's car.

While Jeremy stands and talks to a 'protestor', who seems to be an actor, a man runs around his 4x4 and handcuffs himself to the door handle.

Throughout the short clip, a confused Jeremy fumes he silently watched the craziness unfold.

The clip was captioned: " @jeremyclarkson1 could really do with a 'phone a friend' lifeline right now.
