Fire crews rushed to a crash scene between two vehicles this morning in the west of the county.

At around 8am this morning (Tuesday, September 20), one appliance from Witney Fire Station and one from Rewley Road Fire Station were mobilised to a crash on the B4449 near Cokethorpe School.

On arrival the crews were faced with a two-vehicle collision.

Both drivers were out of their vehicles and neither had any serious injuries, they were then checked over by South Central Ambulance Service.

The crews ensured the car was made safe and then handed over to Thames Valley Police.

A crash also occurred earlier this month on the A40 near the junction with Eynsham Road.

The road was blocked for around 40 minutes westbound with police directing single alternate traffic past the scene.
