BLENHEIM Palace is hosting several ‘creepy encounters and spooky experiences’ for guests this October Half Term.

The events will take places from Saturday, October 22 to Sunday, October 30 at the country house in Woodstock including spooky stories, ghostly train rides, flaming fire performances and pumpkins aplenty.

The storytelling sessions will take place inside the palace with tales of ghosts, ghouls and ghastly goings on.

Outside in the Great Court there will be fire performers while nature lovers can explore the Bat Trail in the Walled Garden and receive a Hotel Chocolat sweet treat at the end.

There will also be a ghost train that takes guests on a trip through the ‘terrifying tunnel’ or they can try their hand at axe throwing or visit the ‘picture-perfect’ pumpkin patch.

Hotel Chocolat will also be hosting a ‘cocoa adventure’ where guests can create handmade chocolate truffle spiders and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the famous Chocomobile.
