BEER lovers are being invited to enjoy a taste of Bavaria in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

Charlbury Oktoberfest, this weekend, will see eight bands and 11 hours of music and dancing.

It all will take place at Charlbury Cricket Club on Dyers Hill, tomorrow and Saturday (October 14-15).

The line up includes The Vodka Shots, Hook Norton Brass Band, King B, Mingus Tree, Knights of Mentis, David Shiers, Jubilee Brass Band, and Village Idiots.

This year’s venue will also house two 30m marquees, with stages, bars and seating for over 700 people. There are also two outdoor stages with additional seating.

Beers come from Germany and England.
