A CYCLIST has been hospitalised after a serious crash in Clanfield this weekend.

The 77-year-old man has been cycling at the junction of Langley Lane and the A4095, Main Street, at 11.45am on Sunday (October 16) when the incident happened.

The serious collision occurred between the cyclist and the driver of a red Renault Clio were in collision.

The man sustained serious leg injuries and is currently in hospital.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for information. Investigating officer PC Neil Bowker, of the Roads Policing Department, said: “I’m appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any footage to contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible please.”
