ADAM JONES, 35, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol from Tesco on two occasions in February. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £97.10 in compensation.
LEW ODIGIE, 33, of Pinnocks Way, Botley, was found guilty of possession of cocaine in Oxford on Boxing Day 2021. He admitted using threatening words or behaviour and, separately, failing to surrender to court bail. The magistrates jailed him for two weeks, citing his criminal record.

BESSEM CHAOUCH, 40, of Bridge Street, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Banbury High Street on March 31. The bench imposed a six month conditional discharge and ordered he pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
MOHAMMED AHMAD, 44, of Southfield Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Nissan Qashqai on Old Road, Oxford, on April 1. Tests showed he was twice the legal limit, blowing 73mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £250, banned from driving for a year and a half and must pay £185 in costs and surcharge.

JAKE HADFIELD, 31, of Leyshon Road, Wheatley, admitted drink driving a white Skoda on Abingdon Road, Oxford, on April 2. After he was stopped, he blew 117mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than three times the legal limit. He received a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work and was banned from the roads for 27 months. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
IONUT DONOIU, 30, of Bartholomew Road, Oxford, admitted possession of a black handled kitchen knife in a public place – Bartholomew Road – on April 16. The JPs imposed a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work and ordered the payment of £199 in costs and surcharge.

ANTHONY PALADIN, 43, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to being drunk in charge of a black Vauxhall Corsa on Jackson Road, Oxford, on April 17. He was fined £1,666, banned from the roads for a year and ordered to pay a £666 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
FLORIAN GHINEA, 34, of Redfield Court, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in March. He received a six month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £26 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
MICHAEL WEIR, 45, of Thornley Close, Abingdon, was found to have been the registered keeper of a 63-plate vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements. The district judge imposed a £220 fine and awarded the DVLA £200 in costs. Weir must pay an £88 victim surcharge.
NICHOLAS BAILEY, 26, of St Johns Road, Wallingford, was fined £660 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road while a statutory off-road notification was in force. The judge ordered that he pay almost £123 in duty owed and awarded the DVLA £200 in costs.
JEREMY NICKLESS, 32, of Ardington, Wantage, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon police station in March. He was banned from driving for 18 months, ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work, and must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
