A convenience store is running an in-store competition with You Tube sensation MrBeast.

Spar has secured a deal to distribute Mr Beast's Feastables chocolate bars which came out in July and which, he says, are consistently selling out in the UK.

MrBeast - 25-year-old Jimmy Donaldson from North Carolina -  is the biggest YouTuber on the planet.

He is credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centres on expensive stunts and challenges and giving money away.

41Spar stores are hosting in-store events as part of a summer promotional campaign, Spinner Winner.

At these events customers can spin a wheel and win spot prizes which include Mr Beast merchandise, a yearly supply of Feastables chocolate bars, and a chance to win £100 in cash.

Every spin also earns entries into the grand prize draw at the end of the campaign.

This has a prize pool exceeding £150,000 with rewards up for grabs including a £50,000 car or £10,000 in cash.

Mr Beast's biggest video to date, with 472 million views, recreated the Netflix hit Squid Game in real life, including a $456,000 prize fund.

Other hit videos included him saying "Logan Paul" 100,000 times over the course of 17 hours, and one where he tipped hundreds of dollars to pizza delivery drivers.

MrBeast said: “I’m incredibly excited to join forces with Spar UK. It’s a fantastic opportunity for my fans to engage in a fun and interactive experience while having a shot at winning some amazing prizes.

“I’m especially thrilled that my UK fans will also get the opportunity to try my Feastables chocolate bars!”

An in-store event will take place at Spar Minster Lovell, near Witney, on August 27 between 10 -12pm.

Spinner Winner is only open to over 18s.
