A Chipping Norton care home celebrated International Nurses Day by visiting nursing teams across the region.
Regional support manager Arlene Aquavera and deputy manager Subra from Southerndown care home marked the special day on May 12, by paying tribute to nurses across Oxfordshire.
They visited teams at The Horton Hospital, Katherine House Hospice and Deddington Surgery.
Later, they extended their appreciation to nursing staff at Chipping Norton Health Centre and Henry Cornish.
Each team was presented with gifts to acknowledge their relentless efforts in serving the county.
Their acknowledgment did not miss out their own nursing team at Southerndown.
Both staff and residents delighted the team with a gift that brought smiles to their faces, recognising their dedication to keeping everyone safe and well.
Ms Aquavera said: "International Nurses Day is a day in the calendar we always mark off early in the year as we want to ensure that we set aside time to celebrate our own nursing team, but also the 100’s of Nurses supporting the people of Oxfordshire.
"Work in the healthcare sector we understand the challenges they face every day so wanted to show a token of appreciation from all of the team and residents of Southerndown Care Home."
Southerndown is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK's leading care providers.
