Free events are giving people the chance to get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle.
The Go Electric Oxfordshire events will be held across the county, offering residents the opportunity to explore electric vehicles (EVs) and learn more about available charging solutions.
Test drives, expert advice, and practical information will be available at each event.
Ben Higgins, Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet member for future economy and innovation, said: "These fabulous, free events are part of our overall programme to provide a confidence boost to drivers looking to switch to EV and build on our leadership in this field.
"Alongside hugely expanding Oxfordshire’s public EV charging network, we also want residents to simply feel better informed and more familiar with the types of electric vehicles that more of us will be driving in the near future."
The first event will take place on Saturday, March 21, at the Woolgate Centre in Witney from 10am to 3pm. Interest should be registered via Eventbrite.
Visitors will be able to test drive vehicles from a range of dealerships, explore car club and leasing options, and receive advice on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
E-bikes will also be available to try on the day.
Andrew Prosser, West Oxfordshire District Council’s executive member for climate action and nature recovery, said: "I’m thrilled to see a large scale event like this coming to Witney and helping give our residents real world experiences with electric vehicles."
Additional events are planned for Abingdon, Banbury, Oxford, and Didcot later in the year.
