Boutique Oxfordshire celebrity hotel Estelle Manor has been named among the 50 best hotels in the world on a prestigious list.
The North Leigh hotel has had its fair share of fame pass through its doors, as its become a favourite with celebrities making visits to the Cotswolds.
It dates back to the 1770s and offers a 'perfect countryside break' in the Grade II listed Landmark House, nestled in more than 3,000 acres of parkland and gardens.
The World's 50 Best Hotels were announced for 2026 at a prestigious awards ceremony in Paris last night, with Estelle Manor coming in at number 43 on the list.
The top spot was clinched by an ultra-luxury hotel in Hong Kong for the second year running.
The Rosewood, a 65-storey icon on the Victoria harbour waterfront in Kowloon, Hong Kong, has been named the best hotel in the world, with stand-out service, an awe-inspiring view from an infinity pool and two Michelin-star restaurants.
Europe was well represented in the rest of the list, with 21 of the top 50 hotels in the world in the continent.
The UK is home to four of those named, three of which are in London, with Claridge's , Raffles London at The OWO and The Connaught.
The only UK hotel to make the cut from outside of London, Estelle Manor went up in the list for 2026, as it was included at number 47 in 2025.
