A Clarkson's Farm star has delivered some "bad news".
Charlie Ireland, who works as Jeremy Clarkson's land agent, said black grass has been found among a field that was earmarked for oilseed rape.
Blackgrass is a troublesome annual grass weed found particularly in arable fields.
It competes with crops for light, water and nutrients, and can produce large quantities of seed.
Mr Ireland, who lives near Blenheim Palace, said: "So today, redrilling some oilseed rape which is bad news but in my hand we have almost the AI of weeds, I've decided this morning.
"It's a bit of black grass that has germinated about a week ago. Its root is almost as long as its leaf.
"And we've got to compete with that, so what we are trying in here is to not move as much land as possible with the drilling system so we don't disturb the soil with the aim of not disturbing too many black grass seeds to germinate.
"Let's hope the humans can beat the AI of weeds."
The weed has evolved traits that help it survive common agricultural practices, including changes in drilling, cultivation and herbicide use.
Essentially, it is adaptable and often emerges and grows in ways that allow it to compete successfully with crops.
He added: "Farmers are facing so many challenges to get our oilseed rape growing.
"This year some are drilling for a second time after flea beetle damage took the first crop.
"Once the oilseed rape is growing. The crop provides a good opportunity to control blackgrass.
"Blackgrass is a competitive weed that competes in combinable crops it adapts its growth habit to thrive in cereal crops and oilseed rape.
"Almost like it has its own internal AI system."
