Great & Little Tew slipped to a 53-run defeat at the hands of Dinton in Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League Division 2 West on Saturday.
Set exactly 200 to win, the Oxfordshire side were skittled out for 146.
The result leaves them still in danger of the drop, but the abandonment of the game between strugglers Falkland and Cove should be enough to secure their Home Counties Premier League status.
Tew started brightly, taking three wickets before Dinton had reached double figures, but a half-century from Henry Woodward hel-ped them recover.
Ashley Hubbert was the top scorer in Tew’s reply, but only two other players made double figures.
Dinton 25pts, Great Tew 5
