Bampton Town Youth had to be satisfied with a share of the spoils after being held to a 3-3 draw at home by Moreton Rangers in the Giles Sports Under 10 Youth Red League.
Trailing 2-0 at the break, Tommy Illingworth’s long- range strike brought them back into the game.
Declan O’Brien levelled with a cool finish before Regan Pritchard put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot.
But their hopes of victory ended when Moreton levelled late on.
Eynsham Youth won 2-1 at Chesterton Juniors in the White League.
Harry Harraway gave them a 1-0 first-half lead after bursting into the Chesterton box and slotting past the keeper at his near post.
After the break, Eynsham made it 2-0 when Leo Norton’s pass found Harraway in space and he fired home a thunderbolt from outside the area past a startled keeper.
Chesterton hit back thro-ugh Thomas Johnson, before Eynsham’s keeper Shay Burton made a good save late on to secure the win.
A goal from Robert Frost was in vain as Ducklington lost 5-1 at home in the Under 15 Knockout Cup.
Charlie Pieton (2), Miguel Zilvetti (2) and George Coom-bes were on target for Launton.
The game was switched to Launton as Ducklington’s pitch was waterlogged.
