YOLANDA Speare produced a superb display to triumph in the ASA National Long Course Masters Championships.
The Witney & District SC member won the 17-24 age group title in all three backstroke events (50m, 100m and 200m) with new master long-course club, county and regional records and Great Britain records.
Other medals for the Witney team came from Graham Cable, who picked up silver in the 30-34 year breaststroke and bronze in the 200m breaststroke, while Matt Everett also claimed bronze in the 30-34 year 800m freestyle.
To cap a great day at the event in Swansea, Witney’s quartet of Speare, Cable, Everett and Blan Walker became national champions in the 72yrs plus 4x50m and 4x100m relays.
