There was frustration for Shipton-under-Wychwood who were on top in their Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League Division 2 match at home to Chesham when rain caused an abandonment.
Shipton made the perfect start after choosing to bowl first.
Anupam Sanklecha continued his fine form by bowling Chesham opener Barnaby Atkins with the opening delivery.
George Seacole struck twice, but the visitors’ captain James Day led a partial recovery, before he lost his partner Jason Rance, who fell to Shaun Miller just before the rain came at 78-4.
Shipton 6pts, Chesham 6
