Oxford Downs dismissed Wolverton Town for only 118, but still contrived to lose and so stay bottom of the Cherwell League Division 1 table.
Downs won the toss and soon had their hosts in trouble, with Johnny Law capturing 5-30 from 16 overs and Richard Beer taking 4-31.
Seven of the visiting batsmen reached double figures after tea, but none could go much further and Idrees Butt (5-37) helped bowl them out for 113.

Division 3 leaders Great & Little Tew 2nd recovered from 129-6 to reach 232-7 and so beat Bicester & North Oxford by three wickets.
Sam Barnes (40) and Jack Haggett (39) had given Tew a good start, but a mid-innings wobble left them in trouble before Sam Smith hit 54 not out to secure the win.
Earlier, Daniel Murphy made 74 in Bicester’s 231-5.

Ian Demain grabbed 5-19 from 15 overs as Sandford St Martin were dismissed by Didcot for 146 in a four-wicket defeat.
Chris Thompson top-scored with 52, while all ten Sandford wickets fell to catches.
The hosts made heavy weather of the run chase, taking 50 overs to reach 148-6, with Martin Anson taking 3-13.

Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd posted 219-8 at Oxford Downs 2nd thanks to good knocks from No 3 Paul Hemming (50), No 4 David Bugge (48) and No 5 Tim Senior (56).
Tom Ward finished with 5-40 from two spells that spanned 11 overs.
Graeme Coates (42) and Paddy Daniel (40) put Downs in contention, but from 90-1, they crashed to 140-8 and had to settle for a draw on 169-8.

Witney Mills amassed 283-6 on their way to an emphatic 153-run home victory over inconsistent East Oxford in Division 4.
Dan Swindells (80), Pete Claridge (58) and Chaminda Wimalarathna (51no) made the visitors regret bowling first.
Swindells then took 5-13 as East Oxford collapsed to 130 all out.

Robert Seymour’s haul of 6-62 coupled with an unbeaten 92 from Anthony Prior-Wandesforde helped Shipton-under-Wychwood 3rd to an 82-run victory over Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 3rd in Division 8.

Oxford Downs 3rd were rolled over for 97 at Blewbury & Wallingford 2nd, Harry Gillam top-scoring with 45. Gus Watts took 3-32.
The hosts then eased home at 116-4.
